The Knowledge Centre is a website that opens up the University of Warwick’s research expertise to a wider audience.
Primarily it is an online magazine that offers timely and engaging content to a growing community of readers. In addition, it signposts available online resources, such as the extensive ITunesU catalogue. The Guardian published an article about how the website ties in with the University’s wider strategy.
I was hired to lead on the development of a pilot website. The success of this pilot led to further funding. As Deputy Editor for the site, I worked closely with the Digital and Online Communications manager and Senior Web Editor on the overall site strategy and team development.
